About Dew Lilac
Dew Lilac is a small set of free skincare tools: a routine order builder, an ingredient pairing checker, an INCI list reader and a patch test tracker. They answer everyday questions such as which serum goes first, whether two actives can share a night and what an unfamiliar ingredient does.
Where the information comes from
The rules, pairing verdicts and ingredient flags were written for this site from public guidance by the American Academy of Dermatology, the British Association of Dermatologists, the US FDA, Cleveland Clinic, the EU Cosmetics Regulation and the EU's Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety, plus peer-reviewed dermatology and chemistry papers. Each page lists its sources, and every verdict links to the ones it relies on. Where the evidence is thin, for example on copper peptides, the text says so.
What the tools can't do
They give general information, not medical advice. They can't see your skin, diagnose a reaction or replace a dermatologist, pharmacist or the person who prescribed your treatment. We don't recommend products or brands, and we make no promises about results.
How it works
Everything runs in your browser. Your routine and patch tests are saved in your browser's local storage on your device, and ingredient lists you paste are read on the page itself. Nothing you enter is sent to us. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views without cookies; see the privacy page.
Spotted a mistake or an out-of-date rule? Regulations change (the EU's fragrance allergen labelling grows in 2026), so check the sources linked on each page for the latest wording.
